A senior manager at Gripple, the Sheffield-based, multi award-winning wire fastener manufacturer, has been recognised in this years 100 most inspiring and influential UK individuals in The Manufacturer Top 100 annual scheme.
The coveted accolade for Gordon Macrae comes hard on the heels of the international companys managing director, Ed Stubbs being chosen for individual interview on the national BBC News to outline why the company has continued to prosper since the EU referendum.
Gordon, Gripples special project manager, was selected within the Top 100 schemes Exemplar category. He runs Incub, the companys incubator for new ideas, as innovation is at the core of employee-owned Gripple and one of the key drivers in its global success. Gordon focuses on delivering innovation across the Gripple family of businesses and to local businesses, schools and universities.
The scheme aims to dispel myths surrounding manufacturing and create a platform to champion and publicly identify dynamic leaders and innovators in the sector.
